Blog Loving #3

Tuesday, 2 February 2016

I'm back with another favourite blogs post! These are my fave to write because it's so nice to share the love for other blogs. Don't get me wrong I'm still loving the blogs from my previous posts- you can read them here and here, but these are some new finds that I had to share with you all.

You know when you read a blog and you can instantly tell that the writer is just the loveliest person ever? - yea well that! Aisling is a fellow tea lover and her writing covers beauty, lifestyle and is my go- to for book reviews. I'd definitely check out her post on boosting your self-esteem and don't forget to check her out on social media too. She's a babe on twitter and her instagram is just dreamy.

Having recently celebrated her first blogiversary, Sophie's blog is a monochrome masterpiece that I love! Sophie's writing is so honest and it's as if you're in a cute little coffee shop having a good chat with your best friend. Her 'Things I'm grateful for' series always reminds me to appreciate the smaller things in life and I must warn you that you may lose a few hours reading her blog like I did. Its just one of those things.

I'm not really sure how I've managed to not find this blog sooner but I'm so happy I have. Think, dreamy white photos, envious style and baking posts that literally make you go out just for ingredients so you can have a go your self- 4 words; chocolate chip banana bread! Helen is super lovely and has helped me on more than one occasion on twitter when I'm completely clueless- give her a little follow. Plus I have to share the love for a fellow blogger living in Newcastle!

My most recent find is a gem of a blog written by another fellow tea and gin lover, Rhianna! I love Rhianna's super down to earth writing style and reading her posts always makes me smile- plus she's a babe on twitter too. I'm currently trying to use her tips on 'becoming a morning person'- lets say it's a work in progress. You need to check her out on youtube too as she has recently started daily/weekly vlogging which we know we all love watching!

Let me know of any blogs you have been loving recently and if you are a blogger yourself, don't forget to leave your links below too! I love finding new blogs to read.

Blog Loving #2

Monday, 3 August 2015

Hello again! Here is another post dedicated to 4 of my favourite blogs that I'm currently reading. You can check out my first post here as I'm still loving all these blogs but since getting more involved in the amazing blogging community I've found some awsome new ones and wanted to share them with you. I think it's really important as a blogger and just an avid reader to celebrate other blogs because it's not easy to regularly maintain a blog with interesting content! It's harder than people think. Anyway, have a look at these below and let me know of any that you have been loving recently too!

1. A Beautiful Mess

So I stumbled across this American blog last week and have spent a number of hours getting lost in reading their posts. It's written by a sister duo team, Elsie and Emma and although they have turned their blog into a business and have a team of helpers, the blog is still so personal and interesting! They can post up to 12 times a week (!!!) so there is always new content to read and you will never get bored. They do the most amazing intereior designs and have recently redecorated a house and donated it!

2. A Yellow Brick Blog

Kirstie writes this beautiful blog and I am so happy to find a fellow blogger that loves Disney as much as I do! If I ever get the chance to visit Disneyland, her guides will be like my bible. There are also fab product reviews, tips and advice. The thing that makes this blog really stand out to me is how I feel like I'm literally sat having a cuppa tea chatting to a friend that I've known for ages! Check out her post on PLL too (thats an order)- its really funny and if you are into your PLL theories then check her twitter too.

3. Bethany Georgina

This is another new find for me and is written by the lovely Bethany. Expect pretty pictures, beauty reviews, fashion, lifestyle and more. My favourite posts are the advice ones as they are so useful and range from how to stay motivated to blogging advice. Somtimes I feel like bloggers can get portrayed as almost 'celebrity like' through their blogs and although I still love reading them, my favourite reads are ones where I can relate to the writer and this blog is definitely one I can relate to which makes it so much more enjoyable.

4. InTheFrow

I have been following Victoria's blog for a couple of years now and I love it as much now as I did when I first found it. I thought now would be a good time to include this in my top current picks as Victoria has recently redesigned her whole blog and oh my, it is so so dreamy! Honestly you need to visit it to apreciate how beautiful it is- I cant imagine how many hours it took to design and create but it is well worth it. You can find a combination of fashion, beauty reviews, food and travel posts on this blog and I recommend having a snoop.

That's it folks, hope you have a look at the blogs above - they really are good reads :) Let me know in the comments below what blogs you have been loving recently.

Blog Loving #1

Sunday, 7 June 2015

Hello again! So when I was telling my friends and family that I was starting a blog I realised that a lot of them didn't read any blogs at all and some wasn't even sure what blogging was! I know right. Here's me checking my bloglovin feed over breakfast, lunch and dinner and any other free time I have. So I thought I would share my current top 5 blogs that I have been keeping up to date with for those who may be new to reading blogs or for those that may be looking for a new read. Click on the headings for links to each blog!

From Roses
From roses is a beauty and lifestyle blog written by Rebecca. Every time I take photos for my blog I always hope they turn out something like the photos on this blog. I have a lot of learning to do as Rebecca has a degree in photography and you can definitely tell. From beauty reviews to life advice, this blog has a bit of everything, meaning there is something for everyone.

Vivianna Does Makeup
If you read beauty blogs then you will know Anna from this blog and I don't need to say anymore. If you are new to the blogosphere world then I definitely suggest you check this blog out if you are a beauty fan. Anna posts daily so you can always rely on having something interesting to read over your morning cuppa tea. From drugstore to high end, Anna has it covered and if I am looking for a new beauty purchase I always see what she is recommending.

Girl talk with Laura
I stumbled across this blog when looking for other north east bloggers as I live in Newcastle myself. Laura has a keen eye for fashion and I really like the outfits she puts together, especially her holiday look books that are perfect for getting some summer fashion inspiration. This blog is definitely the cause of some recent purchases so you have been warned if you want to buy everything after reading it!

DizzyBrunette3
This blog is primarily a beauty one with other bits and bobs added in and is written by Corrie. This  blog is like chatting with your best friend and I personally like her GIF posts as they are really relatable and funny. Oh and the hair!! Corrie is one of those people who has amazing hair all the time *not jealous at all*.

Caroline Hirons
The best way to describe this woman is The Skincare Guru! I found this blog from someone else's recommendation and have been hooked since. I can hand on heart say that my whole view on skincare has changed due to reading this blog and my skin has never been better. Caroline is a professional skin consultant and her cheat sheets for different problems are a godsend. If she recommends a product then I know it's worth trying out.

One tip for if you decide to start reading any of these blogs- grab a cuppa tea and a biscuit because you may be occupied for a while. Do you have any other blogs you would recommend? I'm always up for finding a new one!
